The Mind the Gap project develops between 1.04.2020 – 31.07.2022, in international partnership with organizations from 3 countries: UK,
Romania, Northern Macedonia and is funded by the European Union through the Erasmus + program, Key Action 2, Strategic Partnerships in the Youth Field.
The general aim of the project is to support youngsters in the transition from school to the labor market, either through continuing education or work-based learning
opportunities.

The main
activities of the project:

May – July 2021 – Labor Market Study & Vulnerabilities – practices, activities of key factors
involved in the education of youngsters in each partner country (counselors / teachers; pupils / students; family; decision makers; business).

August 2022 – International Seminar (virtual
or with a physical presence in the UK – London, depending on epidemiological conditions) – practices and strategies to facilitate the transition from school to the labor market, for young
people, either through continuing education or work-based learning opportunities.

April – July 2022 – Local activities – support for the implementation of the Mind the gap program that
will offer youngsters: volunteering opportunities / professional training / work based learning schemes at local level.
Meeting online on the 01.07.2021
International Center for Education has organized Thursday, July, 1st, an online workshop for youth workers from Romania, Italy, North Macedonia and UK.
They will elaborate and implement together a study about youth transition from school to labor market.
The activity is part of Mind the Gap project, coordinated by International EduCenter and financed by European Union through Erasmus+ Program, Strategic Partnerships in Youth Field.
